This project was one of the 6 selected for SceneShang, a Local Singaporean company.
Brief
To design a furniture piece inspired by the art deco movement for local company, SceneShang. The design should emulate their style and incorporate the Rattan material.
Solution
The Chi Mirror was inspired by Art Deco interior architecture such as railings and arch ways. The Chi Mirror features black lacquered rattan and open mesh cane, with an inner brass lining to tie in the natural and modern tones.
It can be used in 2 ways, free standing and leaning against the wall to fit into any interior design. Standing at a height of 1.9m, it is sure to make a statement in any home.
